LSU went to Starkville as the No. 2 team in the country and left with that same ranking following a 36-13 win over Mississippi State.

The Tigers moved to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in league action, but things get a lot tougher this weekend with No. 9 Auburn traveling to Tiger Stadium for an afternoon kickoff on CBS. Auburn enters with a 6-1 mark after a 51-10 win over Arkansas on Saturday.

The lone blemish was a 24-13 loss at Florida the week before LSU beat the Gators in Baton Rouge, 42-38.
