When No. 2 LSU welcomes No. 9 Auburn to Tiger Stadium for LSU’s third matchup with a Top 10 opponent of the season, the home Tigers will be double-digit favorites (-12.5) in the ball game, according to the opening line from Vegas Insider released on Sunday.
LSU is coming off a 36-13 win over Mississippi State on the road on Saturday and while the Tigers cruised comfortably to the win for the most part, there were redzone miscues, a little bit of a slow start and some things to clean up. Head coach Ed Orgeron said it was frustrating, but an impressive defensive performance set the tone.
