Despite a somewhat sluggish start, the LSU football team improved to 7-0 with a dominant 36-13 win over Mississippi State.

The Tigers had to “settle” for field goals in each of their first three possessions and led by only two, 9-7, with five minutes remaining in the half, but then exerted its dominance and cruised to a convincing victory on the road.
