Joe Burrow enrolled at LSU last summer hoping to rejuvenate his college career and make an impact for a major program.
The quarterback was coming off a disappointing tenure at Ohio State, where the former Ohio high school player of the year had redshirted as a freshman in 2015 and attempted only 39 passes during the next two seasons.
When he graduated from Ohio State in May 2018, he decided to transfer. He still had two years of eligibility remaining and thought LSU would offer a chance to compete for the starting job at one of the SEC’s premier schools.
