LSU entered the first of two open weeks undefeated at 4-0 and ranked as high as No. 4 in the country.

The Tigers exited the bye week still unbeaten but a spot lower at No. 5 in the new AP Top 25 Poll that dropped on Sunday.

The week off came at a good time as the Tigers needed some time to get healthy on the defensive side of the ball and get valuable practice reps for Ed Ingram after Ed Orgeron reinstated the sophomore offensive guard after his near 14-month suspension.
