LSU senior quarterback Joe Burrow’s red-hot start to the 2019 season continued this weekend with a 66-38 win over Vanderbilt, moving the Tigers to 4-0 on the year and Burrow even further into the discussion for the Heisman Trophy.
Burrow was 25-for-34 passing for 398 yards and six touchdowns with no interceptions in the win over the Commodores.
His six passing touchdowns broke a school record for most passing touchdowns in a game, a mark previously held by Zach Mettenberger – who was on the sidelines for the win on Saturday – with five passing touchdowns.
