LSU quarterback Joe Burrow played longer than most fans expected on Saturday night in Death Valley, but a 10-point game at halftime led to Burrow playing into the third quarter against Northwestern State – and his impressive numbers on the season continued to grow because of it.
Burrow finished the game 21-for-24 passing (88%) for 373 yards and two touchdowns, both going to sophomore wideout Terrace Marshall.
Burrow had one interception in the game, but also added 30 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground.
