On Tuesday, September 11, 2001, Navy Lieutenant Michael “Scott” Lamana died as a result of the terrorist attack on the Pentagon.

Scott was born in Baton Rouge and was a 1988 graduate of Catholic High School. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science.

Lieutenant Lamana was laid to rest in Section 64 of Arlington National Cemetery, in the shadows of the Pentagon.
