Good morning, Tiger Fans,
How about those fighting Tigers! In a shootout that lived up to its billing, No. 6 LSU’s high-powered offense was on full display in a historic 45-38 win over No. 9 Texas.
At the risk of sounding overdramatic, this was the most impressive offensive performance I can ever recall from an LSU team; Not just because the Tigers put up 573 total yards and had three receivers with over 100 yards each for the first time in program history, but because of the way they did it against a very good opponent on their own turf. LSU was relentless in its offensive attack, answered every Texas score with a score of its own, and kept the pedal to the metal the entire game.
