Destrehan (La.) standout John Emery, Jr. and Baton Rouge Southern Lab running back Tyrion Davis-Price had inked with the Tigers during the early signing period before Emery ended up as the nation’s top back in the final rankings.

Both have impressed in fall camp as well in different ways. Head coach Ed Orgeron said at his Monday press conference that it was Emery, the five-star prospect, that had been more impressive than the coaching staff could have imagined.
