LSU running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire lined up in the slot during an individual drill at preseason practice, and when he took off at the snap, his coach’s voice rang loud and clear.
Man! Man! Man!
The 5-foot-8, 209-pound junior sprinted horizontally across the field, about five yards deep, caught the incoming pass and turned up field, running past first-year passing game coordinator Joe Brady.
