When 247Sports released its latest Top247 update on Tuesday, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy wide receiver Jermaine Burton landed at No. 24 overall in the country, squarely inside the range of a five-star prospect on 247Sports, if the rankings were finalized now.

The 6-1, 193-pound receiver ranks as the No. 3 wide receiver in the nation and No. 4 prospect in California.In April, the former Calabasas (Calif.) wideout committed to LSU over Alabama, Georgia, Miami and plenty of others.

LSU hosted him on an official visit in early April before he finalized his decision with a commitment.
