LSU’s football program has been making steady progress under coach Ed Orgeron.
The Tigers have gone from 6-2 under Orgeron in 2016 when he replaced Les Miles as interim coach, to 9-4 in 2017 and 10-3 in 2018, capped by a Fiesta Bowl victory over Central Florida.
Last season when many predicted the Tigers might finish .500, LSU won 10 games for the first time since 2013.
