LSU coach Ed Orgeron could feel it in the air when he woke up in Baton Rouge on Oct. 13, 2018 that it’d be a great day.
The Tigers would host No. 2 ranked Georgia a few hours later and punish the Bulldogs en route to a 36-16 victory over last year’s runner-up in the national championship game.
Orgeron’s team went on to win 10 games, including the Fiesta Bowl over UCF on New Year’s Day.
