Turning to football, LSU picked up its 15th commitment for the 2020 class yesterday when offensive lineman Marlon Martinez of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. committed to LSU.

At 6-5, 287 pounds, Martinez plays tackle and guard at St. Thomas Aquinas High and has the size, athleticism, and versatility to play either position at the collegiate level.

Some may scoff at the fact that he’s rated as a three-star prospect but I don’t.
