LSU lost one of its most athletic defenders in last season’s opener after Chaisson went down with a knee injury in the fourth quarter of the Tigers’ 33-17 win over Miami.

Chaisson had five tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry against the Hurricanes in his first start as the next man up to replace Arden Key on the outside in LSU’s 3-4 base.
