The first game that was predicted for College GameDay to involve the Longhorns came for the key Week 2 non-conference showdown against the LSU Tigers out of the SEC.

The battle with LSU is the first of a home-and-home series for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

Texas will host LSU at home at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Sep. 7. Next year, LSU will host Texas at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.
