We’ll start today’s update with some good news on the recruiting front.

LSU added a commitment to its outstanding 2020 class when four-star defensive back Lorando Johnson of Lancaster, Texas gave his verbal pledge.

Johnson ranks as the No. 150 overall prospect in the country and is listed as a cornerback by most recruiting services, but is being recruited by LSU to play nickel/safety. He chose LSU over offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Auburn, Arkansas, and several others.
