Former LSU Tiger Andrew Whitworth has ‘most desire and passion’ to play now than ever

With Rodger Saffold and John Sullivan gone, the Rams are just fortunate Andrew Whitworth decided to return for one more year.

The 37-year-old lineman pushed off retirement in order to play his 14th NFL season, remaining at left tackle and protecting Jared Goff’s blindside.

He seemed unsure about returning after the Super Bowl and wouldn’t confirm he’d be back during radio interviews, but before the combine, Whitworth made the news official.
