Turning to football, the Tigers will conclude the second week of spring practice today with a 60-play scrimmage, the first game-like practice pitting LSU’s new Joe Brady-influenced run-pass-option (RPO) offense against Dave Aranda’s defense.
Coach Ed Orgeron has described the new offense as being more spread out with shorter routes, more slants, and a faster tempo. Unfortunately, we won’t get to see any of it in action today as the scrimmage will be closed to the public and the media.
