The East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Office filed charges against a former Louisiana State University football player Friday.

Drake Davis is accused of beating his ex-girlfriend last year.

District Attorney Hillar Moore says he couldn’t say much, but what he could say was that Drake Davis has to face the court for domestic violence accusations.
