Coach O credits halftime adjustments for LSU’s Fiesta Bowl win

LSU put the 2018 season to bed with a win over UCF in the Fiesta Bowl for their tenth victory of the season.

By beating the 8th-ranked Knights, they also managed four victories over top-10 opponents, but according to Coach Ed Orgeron, his Tigers needed to look each other in the eye midway through that contest in order to have a chance to win that game.

“We went in at halftime,” Orgeron said. “The team had their head down. We got after it in the locker room. We had some great talks in the locker room, had some great adjustments, great leadership. And our team came out in the third quarter… I think that was the change in the game, us dominating the third quarter.”
