LSU’s New Year’s Day contest with UCF will mark the Tigers’ first-ever appearance in the Fiesta Bowl. It will also be their farthest trip west ever for a bowl. Two firsts.

Over the last 80-plus years, the Tigers have been just about everywhere. Done just about everything. The Fiesta Bowl will be LSU’s 50th appearance overall, tied with Ohio State for the eighth-most all-time.
