That’s because just days after signing the No. 1 cornerback in the 2019 class (Derek Stingley), LSU received a Christmas Day commitment yesterday from the No. 1 cornerback in the 2020 class, Elias Ricks. Boom!

Ricks, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound five-star prospect out of Santa Ana, California, chose LSU over offers from virtually every powerhouse program in the country, including USC, Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, and others.
