LSU’s Derek Stingley Jr. participates in first practice as a Tiger

Rivals No. 1 ranked prospect, cornerback Derek Stingley Jr., is wasting no time in getting acclimated to life as a Tiger.

The soon-to-be freshman participated in his first practice as a member of the LSU football team on Friday, according to multiple sources.

Stingley Jr. is taking advantage of a NCAA rule that permits up to 15 practices during a program’s bowl preparation once his final transcripts are approved by the compliance office, which occurred Thursday.
