Cole Tracy sees both sides of the relatively new early signing period and the traditional National Signing Day in February for college football.

One hand, it allowed Tracy to sign and head to LSU after he wrapped up his recruitment coming from Assumption College, but coming out of high school, he only landed at Assumption because of the late signing period.
