Today’s release of the updated Top247 saw Baton Rouge (La.) Dunham School cornerback Derek Stingley ranked as the nation’s No. 2 overall prospect.
Should he hold at No. 2, the LSU commit would be the highest-ranked cornerback for his respective class in the Top247’s nine year history.
With postseason all-star games remaining, it remains to be seen where Stingley finishes in the final Top247 but at this stage we feel that the Pelican State standout is among the surest bets in the 2019 cycle.
