The College Football Playoff selection committee doled out some good news the LSU faithful needed after Saturday’s 29-0 loss to No. 1 Alabama.
The committee dropped the Tigers only four spots to No. 7 after what looked like another bad loss to the Crimson Tide.
Obviously, it wasn’t as dreadful to onlookers outside Baton Rouge as it appeared, or the Tigers would have tumbled another two to three spots like they did in the AP and Coaches Poll, respectively.
