If you missed Saturday’s “College GameDay” on ESPN, you missed a great segment on LSU coach Ed Orgeron and his wife, Kelly.

The segment retold a story that was featured in Sports Illustrated in July: Kelly, born with scoliosis, underwent two 10-hour spinal surgeries over three days in May 2017. The surgeries involved the insertion of rods and screws into her spine.

Unfortunately, there was a complication in which her colon had been punctured and she almost died.
