For the second-straight week and the fourth time this year, LSU placekicker Cole Tracy has been named the Southeastern Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the 19-6 win over 22nd-ranked Mississippi State on Saturday.
Tracy is joined this week by Grant Delpit as LSU’s conference honorees as the sophomore safety has been selected as SEC Defensive Player of the Week for his 10-tackle, 2-interception effort in the victory over the Bulldogs.
It’s the first SEC weekly honor for Delpit, who last week as named by several national publications as a Midseason All-America.
