The LSU football team is in search of running backs in the 2019 class, and now the top-ranked running back prospect in America has locked in an official visit to Baton Rouge.
On Saturday afternoon, IMG Academy five-star Trey Sanders told 247Sports that he plans to spend the weekend at LSU on an official visit for the Alabama game on Nov. 3.
LSU has been viewed as a dark horse in the race for Sanders, who is ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 1 running back prospect in the 2019 class and the No. 8 overall prospect, regardless of position.
