LSU’s 22-21 win over Auburn on Saturday gave the Tigers a second win over a Top 10 team in the first three weeks of the season, which catapulted them from No. 12 all the way up to No. 6 in both the AP Poll and Coaches Poll.
The Tigers began the season ranked No. 25, but three weeks have brought three victories and some answers to how LSU’s team would look during the 2018 season.
Second-year head coach Ed Orgeron locked up defensive coordinator Dave Aranda with a new contract this offseason, and the third-year defensive coordinator’s unit deliver another strong performance at Auburn, holding senior quarterback Jarrett Stidham to under 200 yards passing and two interceptions while giving up 130 yards on the ground.
