All right, new LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is reluctantly learning how to slide — or at least half slide — this week in preparation for the No. 13 Tigers’ Southeastern Conference opener at No. 7 Auburn Saturday at 2:30 p.m. on CBS.
Next, he has to basically win the game.
“It seems like watching film, they try to stop the run every game,” Burrow said Monday. “And that’s a big part of their defense, priding themselves in stopping the run.”
