It only took fall camp and a week into the season, but former defensive lineman Dare Rosenthal made the move to offensive tackle on Monday and the LSU website is already updated to reflect the changing, signaling some sort of permanence to the move.
The 2018 four-star defensive line recruit has always been viewed to have a higher ceiling at offensive tackle with his 6-8, 333-pound frame, and with LSU looking for answers at offensive tackle, Rosenthal made the move.
LSU signed the massive lineman after he was once committed to Alabama. The Ferriday High product wanted to play defensive line, something LSU allowed him to try, and he was able to stay in-state to give that a try. Rosenthal got work behind starting left tackle Saahdiq Charles on Monday.
