Auburn receiver Will Hastings and Eli Stove were not placed on the field a week ahead of a huge SEC opener as a ploy to trick LSU.

The injured receivers made surprising returns to the field against Alabama State, a mere six months after undergoing major surgeries to repair anterior cruciate ligament tears. Their work rehabilitating in the offseason was enough for them to be cleared by doctors for the remainder of the season, a decision further confirmed Sunday by offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey.

But Auburn fans want to know one thing: do the coaches believe both players will play against No. 12 LSU this week?
