Playin’ Nice: Southeastern Louisiana

Southeastern has a lot of questions on defense that need to be answered, and LSU has plenty of questions on offense even after the big win against Miami.

I expect the Tigers to try to get Joe Burrow into a rhythm early, which means Southeastern needs to find a pass rush. Lions defensive coordinator Louie Cioffi is running a 3-4 and wants to be aggressive, so it’ll be interesting to see how much he sells out to bring pressure.

Southeastern has athletes in the secondary, but LSU’s receivers are all sizeable and quick. A clean pocket for Burrow will mean a long night for the Lions.
