One of the pundits that Jackson impressed with his performance was CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco, who went so far as to compare the Panthers’ second round rookie to a Hall of Fame cornerback.
“A smaller, quick corner. I’m not even gonna say Darrell Green, but he’s that style,” said Prisco. “He’s not a big guy, but he can fly. … I think a small, fast corner. Darrell Green comes to mind.”
Such a comparison should get everyone’s attention: Playing almost 20 years for the Washington Redskins, Green won two Super Bowls in his career and is accepted as one of the greatest Redskins of all-time. Green was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2008.
