Former LSU Tiger Donte Jackson compared to Hall of Famer Darrell Green

One of the pundits that Jackson impressed with his performance was CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco, who went so far as to compare the Panthers’ second round rookie to a Hall of Fame cornerback.

“A smaller, quick corner. I’m not even gonna say Darrell Green, but he’s that style,” said Prisco. “He’s not a big guy, but he can fly. … I think a small, fast corner. Darrell Green comes to mind.”

Such a comparison should get everyone’s attention: Playing almost 20 years for the Washington Redskins, Green won two Super Bowls in his career and is accepted as one of the greatest Redskins of all-time. Green was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2008.
