One week after fumbling and struggling to break free during a win over the San Francisco 49ers, backup running back Alfred Blue had a resurgent performance against the Los Angeles Rams.
Blue rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown on five carries. He scored from three yards out to open the Texans’ scoring following an interception from safety Kareem Jackson.
“Every game is always important,” Blue said. “You always have to go out there and perform. There’s always somebody coming behind you. I always keep that mindset when I’m out on the field.”
