For Burrow, he’s no stranger to competition at the quarterback spot.
When he signed with the Buckeyes in 2015, he joined a roster that also had Cardale Jones, J.T. Barrett and Braxton Miller. Burrow took a redshirt, then made his debut in the 2016 Spring Game.
He was the quarterback on the winning squad, with Burrow going 14-for-23 passing for 196 yards and three touchdowns, taking the Gray squad to a 28-17 victory in front of a record spring game crowd of 100,189 at Ohio Stadium.
