LSU’s Greedy Williams won a triple crown with the college football magazines as Street & Smith, Lindy’s Sports and Athlon Sports – the three preseason annuals that have hit the newsstands – named the sophomore cornerback a First Team All-American.
Tiger linebacker Devin White nearly matched that feat. However, Street & Smith named the junior inside backer to its second team. Lindy’s and Athlon both had the 6-foot-1, 245-pounder as a first team honoree.
Defensive coordinator Dave Aranda will rely on both to lead his unit in 2018.
