The arrival of veteran safety Tyrann Mathieu on prove-it contract has the Texans extremely excited about his potential to  impact their defense.

Signed to a one-year,  $7.5 million contract, the former Arizona Cardinals All-Pro safety is off to a fast start since joining the team in March.

Mathieu is expected to upgrade the secondary in a big way.
