Is it the new recruiting cycle? Rampant boosters? An NCAA manual a mile thick and more difficult to comprehend than a medical school entrance exam? Ah, the graduate transfer rule. That has to be it. No, the issue at hand is something more sinister, like a torpedo running straight and true beneath the waves of college football and (apparently) likely to cause just as much damage.
