Did Urban Meyer release Joe Burrow to LSU to get an upper hand in recruiting Grant Gunnell?

It’s a possibility.  According to a post on Land of 10, Gunnell is not only the top prospect of LSU, but of Ohio State as well.  If so, then would it not make sense for Ohio State to release Burrow to LSU, in hopes of gaining the upper hand with Grant Gunnell?

This is only a conspiracy theory, yet one that makes sense considering Meyer only allowed Burrow to visit three schools, LSU, Cincinnati, and UNC. Why would he do that?

Only time will tell where Gunnell will land, but our crystal ball is trending toward Gunnell taking his talents elsewhere with the addition of both Burrow and Finley to LSU.

If that does happen, and he lands and OSU, we firmly believe it is because of the Joe Burrow transfer.  OSU gets it’s quarterback of the future.  LSU gets it quarterback for right now.
