May 30, 2018May 30, 2018 LSU Football Report Buffalo Bills’ Tre’Davious White named contender for top CB in NFL by PFF As a rookie, White recorded 69 total tackles, 18 passes defensed, four interceptions, one forced fumble and one defensive touchdown in 16 starts. His play did not go unrecognized. White would be named the runner-up for the AP’s Defensive Rookie of the Year award and would win the award from Pro Football Focus (PFF). After an impressive rookie season, White has gone unrecognized by some outlets as one of the league’s top cornerbacks. It’s frustrated White to the point of him commenting on Twitter.
