May 25, 2018May 26, 2018 LSU Football Report Transfer quarterbacks have generally worked out well for LSU When quarterback Joe Burrow announced his decision to leave Ohio State and transfer to LSU, there was much excitement among Tigers fans. Burrow is a graduate transfer and eligible immediately. He’ll join the competition for the open spot behind center. And the unknown can sometimes be better than the known — at least from the stands. But another reason for LSU fans’ excitement should be this — in recent years, LSU has enjoyed success with transfer quarterbacks.
