May 16, 2018May 16, 2018 LSU Football Report ESPN analyst, ex-Alabama QB Greg McElroy: I would love to see Joe Burrow pick LSU Former Alabama quarterback and current ESPN college football analyst Greg McElroy said Wednesday afternoon on WJOX-FM that he’d enjoy seeing Ohio State graduate transfer quarterback Joe Burrow play at LSU. “I would love to see LSU with a quarterback in my lifetime,” McElroy said. “Outside of JaMarcus Russell, name a quarterback — I thought [Zach] Mettenberger was really, really good, but they only could do so much with him because he would make some mistakes.
