May 4, 2018May 4, 2018 LSU Football Report Former LSU star Kendell Beckwith to collect nearly $25K because of college ACL tear Kendell Beckwith, the second-year NFL pro and Clinton native, is in line to receive nearly $25,000 from an insurance policy he took out before a knee ligament tear during his last season at LSU likely caused him to be drafted later than expected. Beckwith is the latest of a handful of players who have been paid out under so-called “loss of value” policies after injuries toward the end of their college careers have apparently hurt their NFL draft stock.
