In fact, he was there just a year before coming to a mutual separation agreement with the school. Maryland hired the former Tigers’ offensive coordinator in January. While it was never explicitly stated, it appeared the split came in part because coach Ed Orgeron and Canada didn’t see eye-to-eye.
