May 1, 2018May 1, 2018 LSU Football Report Team NFLSU: Building a competitive NFL roster using only former LSU stars Seven former LSU football players were drafted into the NFL over the weekend, headlined by running back Derrius Guice, cornerback Donte Jackson and wide receiver DJ Chark. Using ESPN.com’s player tracker, that puts LSU at 61 former Tigers in the NFL, and that’s not counting undrafted free agents. With that many alums in the league, LSU is one of the few colleges which can field a full roster of former players without skipping a position.
