Even though their son was barely seeing the field, the pride that DJ Chark was wearing the purple and gold was reason enough to be along on this journey. And on this December night in Houston, TX, not only did DJ step on the field, for the first time in his two-year collegiate career the ball was put in his hands, and he made the most of it.
